Mavea {Review & Giveaway}

Tap water is never as clean as it can be. Whenever I get water from the tap it always has a taste to it. Now that I have a Mavea the water I drink is great. Not only does it taste great but it's healthier for me.

Who is Mavea?:
Created in 2007, the MAVEA brand was developed and introduced by BRITA GmbH expressly to bring a portfolio of premium water filtration products to North American markets.

The product I got to review:
I got to try the Elemaris XL. I love the color that I was sent. First off, this product makes my tap water taste great. It's fresh, crisp, and clean. The way water should taste. As for the look of the pitcher, the green is very vibrant and adds a splash on color in my frig. It's a lot less boring than the traditional white pitchers you typically see. If you don't like green there are 4 other colors to choose from (purple, black, orange and red). Another great aspect of this pitcher that I haven't seen before is the rubber accents at the bottom. This prevents scratches to surfaces.

Other aspects I like about this pitcher:
-Dishwasher safe
-Filter change indicator
-BPA free
-Filters are recyclable (Mavea is the only water filter company that offers a comprehensive filter recycling program. Once your done with the filter you can ship it to Mavea at their expense.).
-Sleek European style
-Holds 9 glasses of clean, fresh, and crisp water
-Easy pour through lid
-Comfortable to hold

Overall, I would recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a stylish and eco-friendly pitcher.

Now for the giveaway:

  3. I have and where we live you can't drink the tap without filtering it so this would be a life saver not to mention money saver on all the bottled water we buy.

    1. Same with my water. Pitchers are money savers and make the water taste great. I'd say that's a win win! :)

  30. Yes, I've used water filtration pitchers for years. I've got one of the older pur filters right now, it really needs to be replaced as it has a small crack in it, but ive still be using it. If I don't filter my water, it has a strong chlorine taste and is just not drinkable. I even filter water for the dogs to drink. They are so used to having their water filtered that if you put a bowl of unfiltered water down, they will smell it and walk away and stare at you until you fix it! My old sheltie likes cold filtered water out of the fridge and will stand in front of the door and bark at it until you give it to her and since she's deaf there is no telling her no. LOL. We would love to win one of these pitchers. They are so nice and stylish looking compared to the old one I have and I'm sure they make the water taste even better as filters have come a long way in the past few years. Thank you for the chance to win!

  38. I have never used pitcher filter before but then again I don't drink the water at our house because it has never tasted clean enough for me and my family to drink so I just buy bottled water...but I'm willing to give a filter pitcher a try in order to cut down on the plastic waste and save money in the long run.
