Glass Dharma {Review & Giveaway}

I don't know why but I find myself wanting to use straws more in the warmer weather. It's a hot day and I want a glass of cold ice tea...with a straw (relaxing in the green fresh cut grass of course). Ah doesn't that sound amazing. However, waste is not so amazing. plastic straws are rarely recycled and results in us leaving carbon footprint. When I found Glass Dharma I was excited to discover there is an eco-friendly solution to plastic straws...glass straws.

What I thought of my glass straws:
Yes, I know what you are thinking. Glass straws, those are going to break and are to fragile to carry around. You would be surprised! These glass straws are very durable and are guaranteed not to break! They have a lifetime warranty on them and if you are not 100% in love with them just return them for a full refund. That makes for a safe investment and nothing to lose.

Overall, I really enjoy my straws. Right when you open the package you can see that they are made with quality and care. I like that a cleaning brush was provided because I know every spot of the straw will be clean. They are also no hassle to clean because they are dishwasher safe. Also I love the look of the pieces. My favorite are the straws with colorful glass dots places around the straw. It makes for an eco-friendly statement piece that can be used for both hot and cold drinks. I think the only drawback would that they are less convenient they the traditional plastic straw. However, the when look at the big picture this is very minor.

What I like about Glass Dharma straws:
  • Made in the U.S.A.
  • Glass straws do not leach any toxins (which plastic has a potential to)
  • Enables healthy living
  • Environmental friendly
  • Made of the highest quality bororsilicate glass (the strongest commercial glass available)
  • Extremely durable
  • Lifetime Guarantee if a straw does break i can return the it for a replacement
  • Carefully crafted

  13. I have one clear glass straw that I've been using for a few months now. I was a bit skeptical at first but I've found that I really like it a lot. I would love to add a few more so everyone in my house could have one! It looks like Glass Dharma has some beautiful straws to choose from--I really like the ones with the colored dots on the side and think it's neat that they will also custom make a straw to your specifications. mary987 (at) hotmail (dot) com
