In. Pet Supplements {Review & Giveaway}

About In Pet Supplements:
For over 25 years, ALC Inovators has produced quality pet supplements that compliment your dog or cat's exisiting diet. Our supplements provide dogs and cats with the live enzymes, essential fatty acids, antioxidants, minerals and vitamins that they require to enhance their immune system and to help keep their coat and skin in top condition. The IN® Supplement for dogs and for cats is manufactured in the form of a semi-soft nugget that can be given as a treat. IN® is designed to be taken by dogs and cats of all breeds, sizes and ages and can safely be administered each day for the life of the animal.

We are committed to providing superior products to ensure your pet looks and feels its best for years to come.

What I reviewed:
Diet Supplement for Dogs- Blue Label
-Made for dogs with food allergies and sensitive stomachs.
-Made with oatmeal, rice bran, parsley, carrots, beets, watercress, flax seed and spinach (NOT  Corn, soy or wheat).
-Filled with live enzymes, fatty acids, antioxidants, minerals, and vitamins.
-100% money back guarantee!
-Safe for all breeds, ages, and sizes.

I gave this supplement to my little girl  Bella (10 weeks old) and older family dog (13 years old). Bella loved the nugget and wanted to eat the whole thing. However she can't because the guideline is one nugget per 5 pounds...she's just over a pound. My older dog was hesitate at first, he's a picky eater. I actually put the nugget in a bag of treats he liked so the smell would transfer to the supplement and it worked. After that he loved them. The nugget is soft so it can be used as both a whole treat or it can be crumbled up into your dogs food. Some benefits of the supplement include a healthy skin and coats, increased energy, and overall wellness. The price is reasonable at only $16.75 for the smaller jar. If you have a small breed this should last you awhile.

Now for the giveaway:
In. Pet Supplements is giving 5 of my readers a jar of supplements for their dog(s). How wonderful is that?!

  3. I have sooo many favorite pet stories / One that I can think of at the moment was when I rescued 7 bunnies from a pet store. They had been dropped off there earlier and were in pretty bad condition. There were 6 together in one very small cage about the size of a 10 gallon fish tank if you can imagine that. They were all on top of each other and squished and sitting in their own mess. The 7th one was a Giant Angora who was in a separate cage but in no better condition. He was in a normal plastic bottom cage with wood shavings which did not go well with his 8 inch long hair which was so matted up his legs were glued to his sides and he could not even walk properly and all those wood chips were matted into his fur as well so I know it had to be very irritating. The pet store owner gave me the rabbits at no charge, he just wanted someone to take care of them since they were dropped off in his care earlier that day and he didn't want to have to seek vet care for them. I started off by buying 4 proper cages. 3 large plastic cages with proper clean bedding and good food as well as an extra large wire bottomed cage for the Angora. Luckily I had a spare bedroom at the moment because the rabbits took up almost the whole room lol.. I made an emergency appointment that day with the vet who put the Angora to sleep for me so they could give him a proper shave. (apparently rabbits have very thin skin and if they wiggle could easily be cut and bleed to death) The other bunnies got a quick looking over and the 2 females were scheduled to be fixed. I kept them all until I found them proper homes. The Angora was my favorite he was both leash trained and fully trained for grooming / handling and was fully litter box trained when I found him a forever home. The lady that got him took very good care of him and continued to allow him free access to come and go from his cage as he pleased. He would hop up in her lap and keep her company so I think it was a very good pairing. I still miss that bunny but I think he went to a very good home.

Hard one... my favourite story or memory? I guess my favourite memory is with my first Springer... I think of it whenever I need to calm myself or when they're taking my blood pressure... She loved the snow from her first her first snowflake. She especially loved catching snow balls. She'd do it for hours if you would keep throwing them. But she had this thing she did where, if there was even a few inches on the ground, she would swim through it. It really looked like swimming and she just looked so happy doing it. It was just great watching her. Watching her in the water was a joy but watching her in the snow was really magical.

  13. It's not so much a story but my favorite memories are of taking walks with my new dog last winter. There's a park path that runs close to my house. We used to go out and we'd be completely alone. It was so peaceful. Nobody uses the path during the winter.

  15. I have a male 6 year old 20lb cat who has been an only cat until a year ago. I rescued a 3 week old kitten from going to the pound. She was so tiny she fit in my hand and I had to bottle feed her. My male cat loved this kitten so much he would clean her 10 times a day. He was always licking the poor kitten he even let her nurse it was the craziest thing I had ever seen. He had no hair around his nipples for months. He still holds her down daily for a bath and they are the best of friends.

  18. One of my favourite pet memories is picking up my little Enzo at the airport when we first got him.

When we got to the holding area where he was patiently waiting in his crate for us to come get him, a bunch of the workers at the airport came to us and asked "Are you here for Enzo? We're sorry, but you can't have him.."

Our hearts instantly dropped! We figured there was some security issue.. But after a couple of seconds, the airport staff laughed and said "WE WANT HIM FOR OURSELVES!! HE'S THE CUTEST THING WE'VE EVER SEEN!!" We looked over, and there he was, only a couple months old and tiny, and just as adorable in real life as he was in pictures!

It was the most hilarious thing, especially seeing big, tall, tough looking men coo over this little tiny chihuahua puppy!!

  21. When I was little we had a swing set that had something that went back and forth, my dog would sit on it at one end and I at the other going back and forth, I would eat an ice cream cone and share it with Rusty. We had that dog for at least 15 years.

  25. One of my favorite memories is of my dog, Rocky, a boxer. We lived in a neighborhood and often went for evening walks during the summer, when it's cooler. There was a boxer/pit bull who lived in our court. She was rumored to be an aggressive dog kept caged, but I had never seen her before. Well, that evening as the sun set, we started our walk. The aggressive dog then escaped her house and set her eyes on me. I froze and just braced myself for impact. I must have slackened my hold on the leash because Rocky escaped my grasp and trew himself at the other dog. There was quite a scuffle between the two until the other owner came over and took control of his dog. I was livid, but the other owner was polite and made sure I and Rocky were okay. Except for a couple of bites, Rocky wasn't too beat up. Neither was the other dog. It was a scary situation, but I knew from then on Rocky had my back. Unfortunately, we lost Rocky several years ago. He was a special dog.

  29. One of my favorite animal stories is the day we went to adopt our dog, Artie. It was a 5 hr drive and we brought back a cat that we dropped off at a foster home. It was amazing that neither animal made a sound the whole way home. They were so good, even when it stormed and we had to take it slow.
